What happens if my operation is cancelled
Sometimes operations have to be cancelled for the patients’ wellbeing, you may have a slight temperature on the day or not be fit enough for the operation. When these things happen we make every effort to reschedule your operation within the time you are in the country. If this is not possible then we offer a percentage refund as detailed in our patient policies.
We advise all of our patients to take out specialist insurance for international travel for the purposes of elective surgery. If you have specialist insurance then it may be possible to claim for cancelled surgery and we will supply you with a doctor’s certificate highlighting why surgery had to be cancelled.
